Saturday February 22, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Everything we love about improv is rooted in discovering the unknown truths of a scene with your partner. In this two-hour session, students will play with new ways to challenge themselves and their scene partners to dive into the unknown together. We'll emphasize agreement and collaborative heightening toward any comedic premise or game with the goal of surprising and delighting your scene partner. This session is limited to 12 people and intended for improvisers who have completed Mockingbird Improv's Introduction to Improv, or anyone with equivalent experience.
About The Gaul Brothers
The Gaul Brothers are not actual brothers. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about what The Gaul Brothers are. Jeremy Brothers and Ryan Gaul prefer an audience for their two-man show, but it's happening whether you're there or not. Based on suggestions from the audience, Jeremy and Ryan create a dizzying series of characters and scenes that draw upon their decades of collaboration as improvisors, writers, and everything in-between (other than brothers).
About Ryan Gaul
After growing up on the central coast of Maine, Ryan moved south and attended Stonehill College outside of Boston, Ma. Ryan then transitioned into acting – landing a spot as a performer at Improv Asylum in Boston.
